Our favorite mountain guide will meet you exactly at your hotel. Sit back in the vehicle and unwind with complimentary refreshments as your mountain guide drives for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Arusha or 1 hour from Moshi and a trekking briefing answers all of our questions, while interesting stories for Mount Kilimanjaro by a professional mountain guide set the stage for the exciting events ahead of you.

Start your day trek to Mount Kilimanjaro— the highest single free-standing mountain in the World.
The first leg of the hike is along a narrow ridge that winds through the lush and dense rainforest vegetation. It gives a mysterious and hushed feeling walking through the mists, with the trees adorned with moss.

Proceed to Maundi Crater for a panoramic view
From Mandara, you can walk a short distance up to the Maundi crater rim from where you can enjoy splendid views of plains, lakes, and scenic volcanic formations. Words can not express the beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro...
2:00 P.M.
Start descending through the forest of Mt. Kilimanjaro
The canopy overhead is alive with birdsong and strange rustlings that could be anything from a Colobus monkey to Mongoose scuttling ahead of you, and a wide variety of exotic flowers are also in abundance.
4:00 P.M.
Arrive at Marangu Gate... One last look at Mt. Kilimanjaro.
The trek might be concluded by registering the succession at the gate before transfer to your hotel either in Moshi or Arusha for a hot shower.
7:00 P.M.
Arrive in Arusha city at your hotel
Feel free to advise your mountain guide on your drop—off point whether at the airport, hotel, or residential place in Moshi or Arusha city. We expect to arrive in Mwanza city at around 7.00 p.m. depending on the traffic.
